- Organized 1st solo exhibition of stone sculpture at the Empress Hotel, Victoria, B.C.
- Collaborated with two mycologists to illustrate 40 species of mushrooms for an educational poster MUSHROOMS OF NORTH AMERICA. The poster is held in the collections of the National Gallery of Canada
- Established 'ART with DAR' - private studio classes for children and adults
- Mounted 15 annual exhibitions of student 2D and 3D artwork and earned a wide reputation for the inspirational quality of her teaching
- Conceived and created a monumental, interactive walk-in book installation, JUST IMAGINE, for solo exhibition at public galleries including the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, B.C.
- Donated two 16 foot long ‘sea-life’ murals, a collaborative project with her students, to the Alpha School for the Deaf, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Participated in oceanographic field trips and laboratory workshops during the first ‘Artists’ Retreat’ at the Bamfield Marine Station, B.C.
- Illustrated MAXINE’S TREE, an award-winning children’s book concerned with saving old-growth rain forests on Vancouver Island
- Designed and created a unique 3D interpretation of the Canadian Flag for the parade route of HRH Queen Elizabeth during the Commonwealth Games, Victoria, B.C.
